REPORT: Steelers Restructure Cam Heyward's Contract To Free Up Cap Room

The Steelers have restructured Cam Heyward's contract to free up about $7 million in room.

According the Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, it's a basic conversion restructure.

Heyward will still make $10.5 million this season, but "roster bonus and base were converted to a signing bonus, which in turn creates that $7 million in cap room.

As our Steelers Insider Dale Lolley from DK Pittsburgh Sports pointed out, there are still some restructures that could be done, including Stephon Tuitt, Chris Boswell, and Derek Watt.
