Beaver County Resident Tests Positive for Covid-19

Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency notified Beaver County officials Monday evening that a resident of Beaver County has tested positive for COVID-19. Their board of commissioners has declared that Beaver County is now a Disaster Emergency County. They urge all residents to follow the CDC and Pa Health Department guidelines for slowing the spread of the virus.

No details about the resident have been released as of the original posting of this article.

“Our first steps is the safety of our residents, I think it will come to reality to the residents in Beaver County that this is a serious matter. We urge them to continue to follow the CDC, PA Dept of Health guidelines. Gov. Tom Wolf put that out today. Stay home, stay safe,” said Beaver County Commissioner Daniel Camp.
