During Appeal Myles Garrett Claimed Mason Rudolph Called Him A Racial Slur

Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett told NFL Officials that Mason Rudolph called him a racial slur before the helmet attack during the final seconds of the Browns vs. Steelers game last week.

According to a tweet from Adam Schefter on Thursday afternoon, he made that statement during his appeals meeting this week. Not long after we heard about that allegation, news broke about Garrett's indefinite suspension being upheld.

Cam Heyward talked to the media on Thursday, and defended Mason Rudolph. "It would have been brought up right after. There would have been multiple guys speaking up about it." He added, "I know Mason didn't say it." (videos below)

Mason Rudolph's attorney also issued a statement in regards to the accusation.
