Little Feat’s Paul Barrere Will Miss October Shows Due To Health Issue

Little Feat’s Paul Barrere is unfortunately going to miss the October shows on the band’s 50th Anniversary Tour.

He has been dealing with liver disease for the past couple of years, and recently the not-so-good days have become more frequent. His doctors told him that what he is experiencing is common and treatable, but they advised him to stay home this month so they can “fine-tune the treatment.”

However, as Barrere said a letter he wrote to the fans on the Little Feat website, “The shows will go on.”

One of those shows will be at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg on October 16th, and filling in for Paul will be the super talented Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams.

I actually talked to Paul a couple of weeks ago, and we covered a wide range of topics. You can listen to that interview below.

We Paul a speedy recovery, and hope to see him back onstage with Little Feat at the Ramble on the Island in Jamaica in January.

Grab your tickets for the Little Feat show at palacetheatre.org.

You can read Paul's full note on the Little Feat website here.
